A significant concern.

In my practice I have noticed an increasing concern amongst parents that their young children are displaying symptoms associated with anxiety. Where teens dealing with academic anxiety and stress was common place and children dealing with divorce was common place in psychology clinics who treat individuals for anxiety and depression there has been a surge in the number of young children being seen (as young as 4) for anxiety that does not fit the usual presenting concerns.
